By the time we reach Fes, you’ll check into a cozy riad for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Today is all about discovering Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. After breakfast, we’ll take a guided tour through the medina, visiting iconic spots like the Al Qaraouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the Nejjarine Fountain. We’ll stop for a traditional Moroccan lunch, then continue to the Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter (Mellah), and a ceramic factory. The day ends with a panoramic view of the city before heading back to your riad.

After breakfast, we’ll set off for Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Along the way, we’ll stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and Azrou, where you can see Barbary apes in the cedar forests. We’ll have lunch in Midelt, then drive through the stunning Ziz Valley, stopping for photos along the way. After passing through Erfoud and Rissani, we’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll spend the night in a local riad.

Today, we’ll explore the Merzouga region in a 4×4 vehicle, visiting fossil mines, nomadic tents, and the village of Khamlia, home to the Gnawa people and their unique music. After lunch, we’ll visit an oasis and its irrigation system before hopping on camels for a ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You’ll spend the night in a desert camp under the stars, enjoying a traditional dinner and Berber music.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then ride camels back to Merzouga for breakfast. We’ll drive to the Dades Valley, stopping in Rissani and Erfoud to visit a fossil factory. Next, we’ll explore Todra Gorge, a favorite spot for climbers, and have lunch there. The day ends in the Dades Valley, where you’ll stay overnight in a hotel with stunning views.

After breakfast, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,” and head to Marrakesh via Ouarzazate. Along the way, we’ll visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. By evening, we’ll arrive in Marrakesh and settle into your riad.

Today, we’ll dive into the vibrant city of Marrakesh. After breakfast, we’ll visit the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. We’ll also explore the modern Gueliz district and the bustling souks. The day ends in Jemaa el-Fna square, where you’ll experience street performers, food stalls, and the lively atmosphere before heading back to your riad.

We’ll take a day trip to Essaouira, a charming coastal town. Along the way, we’ll stop to see argan trees and learn about the production of argan oil. In Essaouira, you’ll have time to explore the medina, the port, and the beach before heading back to Marrakesh for the night.
