Your driver/guide will meet you around 8:00 AM at your hotel or Riad. This fabulous tour begins as we cross the magnificent High Atlas Mountains over Tizi Ntichka Pass (2,260m elevation). We’ll stop for photo opportunities of the mountains and Berber villages. Next, we’ll visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unique architecture and famous as a filming location for movies like “Gladiator” and “The Mummy.”

We’ll then continue to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara and often called the “Hollywood of Africa.” Our journey takes us through the stunning Roses Valley, famous for its rose cultivation and annual May rose festival. We’ll arrive in Dades Valley by sunset for an overnight stay in a cozy Riad.

After breakfast, we’ll depart for Merzouga via Todra Gorge, where you can walk between towering cliffs and enjoy breathtaking valley views. Along the way, we’ll pass through authentic Berber villages (Tinjdad, Touroug, Jorf, and Erfoud), admiring the Tafilalet Oasis and its lush palm groves before reaching the Merzouga Desert.

Upon arrival, a camel caravan will take you across the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a magical sunset. You’ll have the opportunity to try sandboarding before reaching our desert camp. Enjoy traditional hospitality with mint tea, followed by a delicious dinner. The evening concludes with Berber music around the campfire and incredible stargazing under the Saharan sky.

Wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga village by camel or 4×4 vehicle. Our journey continues through the spectacular Ziz Valley, stopping in Midelt for lunch.

We’ll pass through Azrou, known for its cedar forests and Barbary macaques, before visiting Ifrane (“Little Switzerland of Morocco”) to admire its unique architecture and pristine environment. The tour concludes with arrival in Fes in the evening.
